ABOUT US
Established 23 years ago, Independent Care Group (iCG) is a not-for-profit organisation serving hundreds of members across North Yorkshire, York and South Yorkshire. A trusted partner in the care system, iCG works for the betterment of the sector. It is focussed on improving the resilience and the sustainability of the network of independent adult social care providers in our region, by raising quality and celebrating good practice throughout the sector.
We provide tailored support and access to resources, services and events that involve leadership and management development, quality improvement and innovation. We help our members to run, not just a care service, but a care business.
We also ensure social care is valued and our members’ concerns are heard and reflected as a united voice, helping shape decision-making both locally and nationally.
Together, we are stronger.
Our campaign for social care reform, fairer funding and better pay for our staff, on a par with the NHS, continues.
